email notifications - avoiding too many
If you are a frequent poster you might find you get annoyed at the number of auto notifications you get when someone posts on a page that you posted on.
Step1: When making a post if you do not want an email telling you if someone has responded underneath your post once published you will see a small link stating "Stop following don't email me when people reply" click on that and you won't get any more emails.
The opposite is true and if you want to know about further posts even if you have not been publishing yourself then click on the follow button where you see it under a post.
Step 2: if this really bugs you then you have the option to by default, to stop following all discussions and posts, go to the My Settings (linked to from the upper right hand corner of any page) and then click on the Email tab. From there, check the box: "Stop following all discussions and column comments."
