Make it easier for members and Google to find your work

Hi,

It is important that you add tags to your work when you upload or add it for 2 reasons:

1. It helps people find your work on the site using the search features:
2. It helps the site and your work show up on Google searches (giving you and us more exposure).

For example:

If you are adding a book review of The God Delusion use the following general tags:

Richard Dawkins, God Delusion, Book Review, philosophy, religion

If you are adding photos or artwork make sure you geotag your work (if relevant) when you upload it as it helps members and Google find your work (and in the future we will have world maps of art by geography).

Think up your own tags obviously and remember try to think what a stranger would type in Authearth or Google if they where looking for something relevant and make your tags accordingly. Also, if relevant to your work, throw in a tag for an unusual or specialised word as they do better on Google.

At the bottom of any post you make you should see a row with tags next to it.
