Mule Blues Pet Photo Contest!

Garage Sale

Color us insane but my husband and I have decided to hold a garage sale this coming weekend. It’s a lot of work and not a lot of fun but mama’s gotta pay bills and there aren’t any money trees in our backyard!

Devi and Kali

I've just spent the last five minutes taking Kali off the dining room table each time she'd jump up on it. Over and over and over again. Lucky for her she has those cute, innocent eyes that melt my heart whenever she looks at me or I'd be very, very angry with her! I forgot what little dickens these kitties can be when they're so young and how much they need to be trained. Little Devi has become such a lap cat and little sweetheart, you barely sit down and there she is wanting some luvin'! Here are two photos of the kittens during and after play:

Flash Fiction Poll

I'm trying out Bytescout Post2Blog -

I’m trying out Bytescout Post2Blog - a desktop blogging client for Windows. With so many blogs, it would be nice to have one spot where I can prepare a post, then send it to more than one of them at the same time. This is my first post using this software so let’s see what happens. Warren Ellis uses Post2Blog and seems happy with it so I thought I’d give it a whirl. There are quite a few options and abilities included so it might take me a while to figure it all out.

Too freakin' tired. 

Furry Additions To The Family

What a blast this weekend has been! Since the passing of our beloved Indya, we've been talking on and off about when we'd get another cat. There was no question about whether or not we would, just when it would happen. I thought it would be fun to have kittens again because it had been so long and my husband has never had that experience and my son was too little to remember. I though having to cats went well before because they kept each other company when I, then we (my son and I) were gone. It's also a riot to watch them play.

Band Names

My son recently decided that he wants to put together a band.  He likes to sing and can play some guitar and he has a friend who plays the keyboard so they're looking for another guitar player and a drummer.  He's been dreaming up band names over the last week or so and here a few of them.  There were several others but they've slipped my mind.
