- Shakespeare, Lord of the flies, Sherlock holmes- lord of the baskervilles, Generally boring stuff like that! I recently read 'An inspector calls' which i though was quite good, but 'the wish list' and 'the swish of a curtain' are one of my favourite books. I enjoy Simon Armitage's poems because they are true to life and make you think.

- I'd say i am a writer more than anything, but i do like a good doodle :) I don't really read a lot nowadays, because i dont have time, but i do like books where you can day dream and go into a world that is completly different from your own :) When i write, i write about my dreams, which generally tend to be VERY detailed, and very strange.. I can't really think of anything else to write at the moment so thats about it :) (oh and i like smiley faces!)
Me, myself and I
Hello! just thought i'd write a bit more about myself so that everyone who can be bothered to can read it if they like!
Anyway, i have only started writing seriously (which in my book means actually finishing a story/poem!) recently, although i have written lots of drafts, and opening of paragraphs before. My first 'proper' poem was one i wrote when i was about nine (the great wall of china- i have published it on this site) which got published in an anthology with poems in from different schools in the region. I also remember writing a script about bullying in the same year, and i remember being incredibly pleased with myself because it got chosen for the end of school play. Although i was pleased about this, i can remember being most pleased about my work being lamanated!!! I have always danced from a VERY young age, but now i have got to a level where i cant do any more exams, and i cant do anymore shows without being a proffesional (which, by the way i dont want to be!) so i just go once a week for fun now.. I also enjoy singing, though my main love at the moment is acting, particulary musical theater. my ambition is to one day perform as lead in a west end show! Though my back up plan is an hospital doctor (ambitious i know!) because i understand chemistry, science and computers, etc. easily than i understand other people when they talk! This might seem strange to some people, because i am quite creative, but it is true!
Shakespeare is also one of my loves, especially sonnet 130. It just makes me smile! My favourite play has to be macbeth, because i understand quite well how Macbeths downfall is caused mainly by his peronality flaws!
Well thats it from me rambling on for now! (oh, and i apoligise for everyone who loves spelling, i know i am bad!)

Exam stress!- Are Teens and children put under too much pressure?
Ok so i am in high school at the moment, currently studying for my GCSEs. I am doing my english and spanish a year early so i am STRESSED already! Ok, so this column post is basically me ranting on about GCSEs and my lack of appriciation for exams (!) So heres the question- do you think teens and children are put under too much pressure in school nowadays? If yes, what do you think the goverment should do insted?

Should we stop using txt?
Its becoming more common now, especially for younger people to use text when they are talking to friends, sms, msn, ect. As a young person myself, i am finding it increasingly hard to write 'normally' with no text language at all. Should we stop using text language all together for the sake of the english language? Or is it just our language developing into a quicker and easier form, which is how language is developed naturally?

I have a scanner at home, but I dont really use, kinda lazy :) hehe
i just take close up photos using my camera, the drawings come out ok :)
but I guess I should probably use a scanner... hehe
