Profile of a Black Country Girl
Well, my name is Rosemarie Short (I hate the name Rosemarie - I find it really stuffy and upper class) but everyone calls me Rosie. I'm pretty average. Brunette, with dark brown eyes and a sunny disposition (HA!)
I have a family of seven. Mom, Dad, Me, Three brothers and my dog (Missy). We get on okay providing that we don't talk too often (isn't that how most families are?)
I've been writing stories and stuff since I was seven or so, and have a few awards from school for short stories (sorry - had to get that little brag out of the way!) I've now moved onto novels, and hope to get published at some point in the very near future. I've poster my first major novel - Blood Red - on this site.
So, that's me in a nutshell.

Diana Princess of Wales - The Musical???
Apparently, soon the life of the late Princess of Wales is going to be made into a Broadway Musical.
Elton John is being named as a possible music consultant, with Diana Biographer Tina Brown as writer of the show.
Personally, I have nothing against Diana. I believe that whilst alive, she was a warm, generous, kind person. Sure, she probably had faults - but who doesn't? However, she has now been dead for a very long time, and I feel that if people truly respected her memory, they would just lea… Continue
