
"And there was a boy, dressed in red. How dear he was to me." The girl sang softly. The white padded walls were still, but in her eyes they were torn in shreds. A nurse in a white uniform opened the steel door as she carried a metal tray with pills. "All right Mary, time to go to sleep." She said in a cherpy voice. Mary parted her crackled lips as she whispered. "I didn't mean to be here you know" The nurse had that stupid smile plastered across her face. "I know sweetie. No one means to be here. "I then grabbed her coller and dragged to my level. "I was normal. You--You people think the world is giving back to back to you..." I crackled my laugh as I let go of her. Her smile was loosing its happiness. "Now, Mary. Just take your pills." She said as she held up the pill bottle to my lips. "Should i sing it for you?" I said candily. The nurses eyes grew wide with worry. "Dearest the shadows, I live with are numberless..." I started to sing. The Nurse's eyes grew big as she clamped her pale worn hands over my mouth. "We all don't want to end up like you." She whispered with harshness. I started to laugh at her, my laugh echoed off the numbing wall. These simple minded people how they thought that I...I was the problem. She then reached into her white apron and retrived a needle. "Good night" I said to her as she stuck it into my wrist. "Mary Andys!" yelled Mrs. Hagthorn. My head bolted up from the wooden desk as Ms. Hagthrorn glaring at me through her black steamed glasses. I rubbed my eyes focusing on my surroundings. The class room was filled with mumbling adolecent high schoolers. "Mrs. Andys?" She cawed again. "Yes, Haggie?" I asked polietly. She sighed shaking her head and began to point at the board.
