Yeah, i am getting better. But slowly, sadly :( I have more time to be on authearth now though! :) I hope you check out my new short story soon, its called 'no sun to warn our hearts'. Its based on a dream i had a couple of days ago. Thanks for the comment :)
Robyn :)
Who would be the best writers on the site to approach and ask them if they would be willing to tear the chapters I have submitted under chapter by chapter to shreds?
I welcome criticism as it is the only way to improve the various aspects of a story. It is based on my real life experiences in the South African police but I have fictionalised it.
I am trying to bring three story lines together - maybe at this stage in my writing I am being too ambitious.
Thanks for the welcome Thed - you are forgiven!
I have not written any thing for years, so im just working myself up to it. Just to let you know that Robyn has not been on line lately as she has got pneumonia.
Hi. I just wanted to ask for you to add the fact that the story is published by Creature Magazine, please. I'm not sure how all the legal stuff works, but I think it might be proper to mention them.
Greetings Thed,
You're probably already aware of this but if not ...
On the left-hand side for the page where latest activity is listed, members can have a little line that says 'such and such has started two new posts'. When you click on that to see the posts, the next screen informs you that they have not started any new posts. Can this be sorted?
Hi Thed, thanks for your kind words on "Hollywood Interview." I'm really more a prose writer than a poet so it's extra satisfying to write a poem that seems to work.

Here's an easy-to-implement idea: creative word games.
Every week, put up a list of really random words and set the challenge of us making a story or poem using all the words in the list, and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place to the best entrants. We used to do this in our creative writing workshops, and it really helps people bond and gives more of a 'community' feeling to the members, which I'm sure is what you're striving for.
It would really get people involved to have them working together on an inspiring activity, instead of just the current approach of 'go away, write something on your own and we'll only get involved at the feedback stage'.
Thed- my mum is sad, and is very upset that you haven't welcomed her yet! I think she said this joking, but it would be great (and funny!) if you dropped her a comment :) Her name is Leanne :) Thanks,
Robyn :)
Hey, thanks, its been the easter break for me. I've been a bit absent but it's crunch time for the academic stuff at the moment and will leap full heartedly into any future Haiku contest (the last one which i am slightly gutted to have missed.)
Thanks Thed... you wouldn't be a Withnail fan would you? I just caught a glimpse of your video clips. I've often thought, if I lived in London, a Withnail Tour would be a sure fire money spinner! Lots of marketing potential... 'Come Weep in Butchers Shops', or just 'Scrubbers!' as a grabbing tagline!

Just realised I haven't added you as a friend yet! Was disgusted with myself (lol) and so will rectify that mistake at once :)
